friday night kara took us to her friend's restaurant hecho en dumbo. the guac was good as well as my chorizo sopes. q. had the vennison over beans and a few cheladas. twas nice, although service was weak. would go back with friends for drinks.
we headed over to amanda's bday kareoke party! it was a blast - kereoke duet in k town had multiple private kereoke rooms. we all rocked out to jams like usher's nice n' slow. quynh attempted both tpain's buy you a drink and that jordinsparks song no air air... FAIL.
next morning, q and i went to williamsburg...
we had brunch at roebling tea room.
had the beet hash over a fried egg. q had the acme special with an assortment of cold fish. our toasted baguette with butter and tiny jar of jelly was perfect. and of course i had some tea - black orchid described as vietnamese black tea. the vibe is very "too cool", even the staff had that tude. but the bone marrow plate is all the reason to go back.
made a stop at APC for some denim... no dice tho.
later we picked up some cheese and a fresh baguette from bedford cheese shop.
i need more weeksnds like this. can't wait for warmer weather.
